Manure is an organic waste product produced by animals and contains nutrients, bacteria and other organic materials. It can also be inorganic, as in the case of synthetic fertilisers. Manure is used as a source of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium for agricultural soils, but can cause environmental problems if not properly processed.
